After hearing about the Omelette & Waffle Cafe for a while now from friends, we finally checked it out! It’s a small place, but we lucked out and got a seat right away. It quickly filled up. You place your order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table.
I ordered an omelet, which is quite unusual for me. I usually order sweet breakfasts and if I order a savory breakfast it usually involves poached eggs. What I like about the omelets at Omelette & Waffle Cafe, besides that they’re delicious, is that they are made with two eggs rather than the standard three. Omelets are usually way too big. It was a hard time deciding, but I went with the Greek omelet which was stuffed with gyro meat, green pepper, onion, and feta cheese. I also had my eye on the Mexican (seasoned ground beef, onion, tomato, cheddar, side of salsa) and the green (broccoli, spinach, green pepper, and asparagus) omelets. It was severed with toast and hash browns.
Dave tried a special, and there were lots to choose from, the banana berry stuffed French toast. The French toast was stuffed with cream cheese and topped with bananas, strawberries, and chocolate sauce. He really enjoyed his meal, as I did. I look forward to visiting again!
