On our last day in Chicago, we took a cab out to Bridgeport and had breakfast at Nana and it was totally worth the cab fare! We first heard about Nana when it was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on the Food Network.
I ordered their signature Nanadict, a spin on the traditional eggs benedict with poached eggs and chorizo on top of corn pupusas topped with poblano cream. It was served with farm greens and home fries. It was everything that was promised on the show! Really delicious and flavorful. I cleaned my plate! The poblano cream sauce was especially tasty, I wish I could have taken home the recipe for that one.
Surprise, Dave ordered huevos rancheros! I took a taste and they were very, very good. We both really liked the crispy corn tortillas that the refried pinto beans, poached eggs, vidalia onions, peppers, guacamole, queso fresco sat on. This is another place that I’m sad isn’t located in Ann Arbor. So good!
