In our continued quest of trying new places around Ann Arbor for breakfast and brunch, we kept close to home and checked out Holiday’s Restaurant. They offer a traditional spread of breakfast items. Dave ordered the taco omelet and I ordered the biscuits and gravy. Dave really enjoyed his omelet, but I only enjoyed my breakfast partially. First off, I ordered sunny side up eggs along with the biscuits and gravy and it was a bit undercooked. Secondly, the texture was all the same: soft biscuits, soft gravy, and soft eggs. This was more the fault of the item I ordered rather than it being made improperly, but I want to like biscuits and gravy. Perhaps it’s not meant to be. The home fries that came with Dave’s omelet were especially tasty and cooked perfectly.
