Another big one crossed off the life list: buy our dream home! Why is this our dream home? When we started thinking about what we would want/need in the house we plan to live in forever we had a couple of things that were non-negotiable: 1) near Ann Arbor, 2) at least 5 acres of land, and 3) high-speed internet. Sounds impossible, right? But this house has all that and more! It also has a lot of things we wanted, but didn’t have to have, like being a ranch and having a fireplace. While our house may not be a dream home for some, it’s perfect for us and we couldn’t be happier.
