Good Girls Go to Paris Crepes

by Rebecca on May 5, 2011

crepes

On Tuesday, we had dinner lunch (they were only open until 4:00pm on Tuesday) at Good Girls Go to Paris Crepes. Good Girls GO to Paris is located in Detroit near the Detroit Institute of Arts and Wayne State University’s campus. We decided to share a savory crepe for our entree and then share a sweet crepe for dessert. We ordered the “O” (feta, kalamata olives, spinach, Greek dressing) and the Tynysha (heath bar, ricotta cheese, chocolate). Both crepes were excellent and sharing them was just the right amount for both of us.

The previous time we ate at Good Girls, we both got a savory crepe each and had no room for dessert, not again though! On our last trip, Dave ordered the Janel (eggs, Swiss cheese, ham, pesto) which he liked, and I got the Dana (chicken, brie, sun-dried tomatoes, pesto). The chicken was a bit rubbery and gristly, so I would avoid chicken-filled crepes in the future, but otherwise I liked it. Both were kind of heavy, especially compared to the crepes we tried on Tuesday.

They have a newly expanded dining room, but keep in mind that it is a popular restaurant and everything is made to order, plan to spend about an hour or so between ordering, waiting, and eating. There’s plenty of parking nearby on the street, surface lots, and parking garage.

I think they might be moving to a bigger space on the corner near the DIA. When Andrew and I were down there last Saturday, we saw a petition on the window of that corner space.
