When we visit our favorite bed and breakfast in South Haven, Martha’s Vineyard, we can be counted on to do two things. First, we always head to the beach and take our picture in front of the lake and second, we eat!
Clementine’s-Clementine’s has a large menu made up of appetizers, sandwiches, salads, seafood, noodles and a burrito and just about anyone would find something to enjoy. On our last trip, Dave and I split the nachos and the fried zucchini. The nachos, which we’ve had before were good, but the fried zucchini with their house dip was the star of the show. Super crispy and not greasy, I can’t wait to go back to order them again!
Tello Italian Bistro-We didn’t make it to Tello this past trip, but we’ve been there a few times before. The spaghetti alla carbonara is my favorite and the butternut ravioli is also very good. Though last time we were slightly disappointed by the cheese plate appetizer and the ricotta cheesecake for dessert, both were just OK.
Su Casa Restaurant-We just discovered Su Casa on our last trip to South Haven and are we glad we did! Everything we had was delicious. On the table, in addition to pico de gallo and hot, pickled carrots was this most amazing dip made from tomatillos, avocado, cilantro, lime juice, and onions. It looked like pistachio pudding, but it tasted awesome. The margaritas were also very good.
