Etsy is full of wonderful stores selling fabulous handmade and vintage goods. A lot of those sellers are from Michigan, check out a few that have caught my eye!
DressGreen offers high quality, sweet smelling soaps, lotions, and other body care products. Her items do not contain petroleum products, parabens, phthalates, silicone-derived products, nor sulfates. My favorites are the body lotions (the vanilla luxe scent is to die for) and the lip balms (mmm…coconut vanilla).
Cyberoptix Tie Lab
Cyberoptix Tie Lab creates high-end silk and microfiber neckties, bow ties, and scarves screen-printed with cool designs like wind turbines, hops and wheat, and topographical maps. They also create custom ties for weddings.
Gretchen Kamp creates handmade whimsical ceramic tiles. She offers small tiles that are 2″x2″ up to large tiles that are 12″x12,” in addition to square tiles she also sells round and flower-shaped tiles. My favorites include the flying saucer, venus fly traps, and cocktail shaker tiles.
Vintage in Retrospect
Vintage in Retrospect sells recycled, vintage, and handmade accessories, including belts, buckles, and earrings made out of recycled license plates. Favorites include: the Union Jack, University of Michigan (Go Blue!), and Wonder Woman belt buckles. So fun and so creative!
StoopidGerl creates resin jewelry, including necklaces, earrings, rings, and bracelets, and photographic prints. The colors of her products are AMAZING and her jewelry pieces are totally FUN!
GiGi Goods sells handmade paper goods including, notecards (both sold individually and in sets), paper flowers, and books. I love her collage cards and the bowl made from upcycled magazine pages.
